Iceberg Flips Over near Los Glaciares Nasional Park

Iceberg flips
Recently, a video showing massive iceberg flipping near the Los Glaciares Nasional Park was uploaded by someone named Osibaruch, an Israeli tourist who coincidentally captured this phenomenon when he was traveling on a boat near the Upsala Glacier, a large valley glacier in Los Glaciares National Park, on youtube.  Los Glaciares Nasional Park is located in the area known as Austral Andes in Argentina, in the south west of Santa Cruz on the border with Chile. By its magnificent natural beauty, it constitutes a wonder in the world, and was declared "World Heritage" by UNESCO in 1981.

On his post he said: "While we were passing by it with a catamaran, the huge berg lost a part of itself (look at the right side sinking) and then flipped over with a huge roar. In the process of melting this happens all the time, but it is seldom that it is captured on video WHEN it happens...".

In the video, it seems that the bottom of the iceberg suddenly appeared from the ocean, so water is bubbling at the edges. Many commentators argue that this is the effect of the global warming, since the climate drastically changing causes the melting of the iceberg. However, Some scientists say the melting of Upsala is a result of other natural factors and is not primarily connected to climate change.

Think about the freezing point of water and the fact that the iceberg (frozen water) is floating in the ocean or a lake (not frozen) so the water melts the iceberg. This makes the top heavier than the bottom and thus capsizes the iceberg. This process continues over and over and over again until there is no iceberg left. It has nothing to do with global warming.

Mysterious Sea Creature Captured by Video

Recently, there was a strange sea creature, the moving creature such as a liquid or a thin cloth beneath the sea captured by video. This video shows the color of milk and something mysterious shape moving near the oil wells under the sea, about 1524 feet below sea level.

Some say it is a kind of monster from the deep ocean. Others speculated that this could be a whale placenta. The most common theory among commentators is a creature of this kind of jellyfish called Deepstaria enigmatica. (Yahoo! News – Friday, 11 May 2012)

Korean government also encourages for those who want to be artists to study abroad, mainly to US and Europe, by giving scholarship.
