Inglaterra vence a España y es la nueva campeona de Europa sub-17
(EP) La selección inglesa de fútbol sub-17 consiguió levantar su primer Campeonato de Europa de la categoría en Liechtenstein después de derrotar (1-2) en la final a España, en un partido en el que el combinado nacional llevó el peso del partido, pero dos 'golpes' británicos dieron la vuelta al tanto inicial de Gerard Deloufeu. A pesar de la derrota, España, que pecó de demasiado individualismo en la segunda mitad, cierra el campeonato dando muestras del renacimiento de la cantera nacional, después de varios varapalos, desplegando el mejor juego del torneo.
Contando todos los partidos de la competición por victorias, ambos equipos llegaban a esta cita con diferentes propuestas de fútbol. El combinado nacional, con el fútbol de toque heredado de la Absoluta e Inglaterra, apoyándose en la fortaleza física de sus hombres y en los rápidos contragolpes.
Los de Ginés Meléndez salieron al campo sin complejos, desplegando su descarado juego y aprovechando a Jesé Rodríguez y Gerard Deulofeu muy abiertos a las bandas para generar continuos centros y aprovechar el torneo realizado por el 'killer' Paco Alcácer.
La 'rojita' dominaba el partido desde el inicio ganando la batalla en el mediocampo y, con la dirección de Campaña y Ortí, las ocasiones se iban sumando sobre la portería defendida por Jack Butland, que veía cómo se le acumulaba el trabajo.
En una falta escorada, llegó la primera gran ocasión del partido. Un centro sobre la portería británica fue despejado por Barkley obligando al meta a lucirse y despejar el balón a córner después de golpear el larguero.
Después de esta ocasión, el equipo nacional, que tenía el aliento de Vicente del Bosque, el cuerpo técnico y jugadores de la Selección absoluta, comenzó a volcarse al ataque y, en la siguiente jugada, dos regates de Deulofeu y un fenomenal disparo dio fruto al primer gol del partido después de tocar en el defensa rival Wisdom.
Con este gol, el extremo del FC Barcelona sumó su tercer tanto en la cita después del 'doblete' conseguido ante Portugal en la primera fase y lo visto en el terreno de juego comenzaba a dar los primeros frutos.
A partir de ahí, todo parecía indicar un claro dominio 'rojigualda', pero, a la salida de un córner, los pupilos de John Peacock lograron empatar en partido gracias a un impecable remate de cabeza del propio Wisdom, jugador de la cantera del Liverpool, que aprovechó su superioridad física.
El luminoso volvía a reflejar un empate y, con un conjunto británico más 'suelto', el partido comenzó a equilibrarse con balones largos que 'emborronaban' el preciosismo ofrecido por los futbolistas nacionales en los instantes iniciales.
En la segunda mitad, los chicos españoles seguían controlando la posesión sin demasiada profundidad y, en una jugada aislada, el espigado delantero Connor Wickham materializó una gran jugada individual para dar la vuelta al partido.
Con el marcador en desventaja, Meléndez tuvo que sacar a toda su artillería, pero Inglaterra, que llegaba con solo tres goles en contra, se mostró muy férrea sin apenas dejar opciones a los españoles.
Aún así, Jesé Rodríguez y el propio Delofeu tuvieron la posibilidad de empatar el partido, pero ambos jugadores, pecaron de individualismo en varios ataques queriendo hacer la guerra por su cuenta y dando muestras de ansiedad.
Con una España volcada, el conjunto británico pudo sentenciar el partido al contragolpe. Con este resultado, Inglaterra levanta su primer título en la categoría tomándose la revancha de la derrota en 2007 con un solitario tanto del azulgrana Bojan Krkic.

DE LA JORNADA 12 A LA 15, Ibrahimovic marca en los 4 partidos, y en dos ocasiones abrió el marcador: Contra el Espanyol, en un partido muy complicado, y contra el Madrid, un gol de 6 puntos que no vino precisamente por una jugada de toque, sino por un centro lejano de Alves.
DE LA JORNADA 16 A LA 19, el equipo pierde 2 puntos frente al Villarreal en una ausencia de Messi pero encadena 3 victorias consecutivas.
EL BALANCE DE LA PRIMERA VUELTA es el siguiente:
-Con Ibrahimovic: 15 partidos jugados, 14 victorias y 1 empate, 43 de 45 puntos posibles (95,5%, la cifra equivalente de Messi 87,5%), 11 goles marcados (6 aperturas de marcador, 2 segundos, 3 terceros o posteriores); con él en el campo, su equipo ha marcado 2,8 goles por partido y ha encajado 0,53.
-Sin Ibrahimovic, 4 partidos jugados, 1 victoria y 3 empates, 6 de 12 puntos posibles (50% de puntos sin Ibra, 77,7% sin Messi); sin él en el campo su equipo sigue encajando 0,5 goles por partido, pero el promedio goleador baja a 1,75.
Tras una primera vuelta en la que se obtiene un solo punto menos que la del año anterior, el canje de Eto´o por Ibra se puede considerar exitoso.
Los resultados son inequívocamente positivos en esta primera vuelta, y dada la trayectoria que el Madrid demuestra a lo largo de toda la temporada, no es aventurado decir que de no ser por esta ventaja fundamental, la Liga habría acabado cayendo en manos blancas. El problema es que a pesar de ir 5 puntos por delante en Liga, en Camp Barça se obsesionan por la pérdida de juego colectivo, y por el poco brillo de su líder Xavi, el cual a estas alturas suma apenas 1 gol y 4 asistencias ¿Será que Ibrahimovic es tan bueno que puede hacer ganar a su equipo sin que Xavi intervenga?¡¡¡HEREJÍA!!! ¡¡¡HEREJÍA CONTRA EL PENSAMIENTO ÚNICO CULÉ!!! Puestos a evitar esta posibilidad, Pep vuelve a insistir en aplicar sistemáticamente la fórmula preferida por su público y su líder en el campo, aquella que el año anterior le dio el triplete pero que este año, de haber habido otro partido en el Bernabeu (o en el Pizjuan, o en Cornellá), habría resultado un fracaso total.
De nuevo se vuelve a la insistencia en el toque, al hipnotismo del pase intrascendente, a la reducción de espacios arriba necesaria para que Xavi no muestre sus defectos ¿Cuál fue la consecuencia? Pues que el que había sido el mejor jugador del equipo, el que más puntos había garantizado, el que más veces había abierto el marcador, aquel con cuyo concurso se habían elevado los goles de sus compañeros, el que lograba buenos resultados aunque el equipo no lograra imponer su estilo, se vio abocado a reubicarse dentro del terreno de juego, obligado a moverse en unos espacios tan estrechos que sólo benefician a los extremos y a los jugadores de segunda línea. Pedro y Messi se hincharían de hacer goles, Xavi por fín podía jugar a gusto, pero todo ello a costa de Ibrahimovic. Cuando juegas delante de tu rival, no necesitas delanteros.

DE LA JORNADA 20 A LA 26 fueron las semanas en las que el sueco comenzó a venirse abajo. El acentuamiento táctico del equipo hizo que la prensa catalana comenzara a cargar las tintas contra él: “es pasivo”, “cae constantemente fuera de juego”, “no se implica en el juego colectivo”, etc. Su promedio goleador bajó y en estas 7 jornadas solo metió el gol contra el Atlético, y su equipo lo notó pues perdió 5 de 21 puntos posibles. Se ausentó por lesión contra el Racing y se autoexpulsó contra el Almeria cuando su equipo iba perdiendo, razón por la que se perdió además el siguiente encuentro. El estilo de juego del equipo lo había ido arrinconando y expulsando de sus espacios habituales y su inestable psique hizo el resto; la diferencia ahora es que su equipo lograba ganar sin él, y es que ciertamente no lo necesitaba, bastaba la presión constante para que al final cualquiera abriera el marcador. En todo este período lo más reseñable fue el gol en Stuttgart que salvó una tarde nefasta del equipo de Guardiola.
DE LA JORNADA 27 A LA 33, algunas palabras debieron haber entre el sueco y el de Santpedor por las cuales el técnico logro implicar de nuevo al delantero, que logró marcar en 3 partidos seguidos, 2 de ellos para abrir el marcador. Gracias e esas 3 victorias el equipo blaugrana mantuvo la paridad a puntos con un Madrid que parecía intratable pese a su irregularidad en el juego. Pero precisamente en este momento de resurrección del jugador sobreviene la lesión de soleo que le mantiene fuera en 3 partidos, incluido el clásico. Reaparece al final del encuentro con el Espanyol, en el que se pierden 2 puntos tras una gran lección táctica de Pochettino.
DE LA JORNADA 34 A LA 38 el sueco se vuelve ausente e intrascendente. Su equipo, que se había acostumbrado a ganar sin él logra obtener los 15 últimos puntos, y Zlatan desaparece de las alineaciones hasta en 3 ocasiones. Su último gol lo marca en la jornada 34, el tercero en la victoria contra el Xerez tras su lesión.
EL BALANCE DE LA SEGUNDA VUELTA es el siguiente:
-Con Ibrahimovic, 10 partidos jugados, 8 victorias, 1 empate y 1 derrota, 25 de 30 puntos posibles (83,3%), sólo 5 goles marcados, si bien 3 fueron aperturas de marcador. Con él en el campo su equipo marca 2,2 goles por partido y encaja 1.
-Sin Ibrahimovic, 9 partidos jugados, 8 victorias y 1 empate, 25 de 27 puntos posibles (92,6%). Sin él en el campo su equipo marca 3 goles por partido y encaja 0,44.
En esta segunda vuelta, Messi y Pedro marcan 26 goles, Xavi marca 2 goles y da 10 asistencias (a los otros dos sobre todo), el toque y la combinación han vuelto y todo parece ir mucho mejor, pero la diferencia frente a la primera vuelta es de sólo 1 punto más, se han marcado el mismo número de goles, pero se han encajado 4 más. Por tanto todas esas reformas en el juego no han tenido trascendencia real en los resultados, pero a cambio ha arrinconado al fichaje más caro de la historia del club, uno de los mejores jugadores del Mundo, que quizá tenga que irse por la puerta de atrás. Con el de Terrassa hubo paciencia y se hizo lo necesario para que funcionara, el de Malmö no ha tenido la misma suerte.
EL BALANCE GLOBAL DE LA TEMPORADA
-Con Ibrahimovic, 25 partidos jugados, 22 victorias, 2 empates y 1 derrota, 68 de 75 puntos posibles (90,6%), es decir que habría acabado con 97,8 puntos, casi 2 más que el Real Madrid, y por tanto CAMPEÓN DE LIGA, 16 goles marcados (promedio a 50 partidos 32,65 goles y 14 asistencias), 10 aperturas de marcador (2 más que Messi en bastantes partidos menos). Con él en el campo su equipo ha marcado 2,5 goles por partido y ha encajado 0,77
-Sin Ibrahimovic, 13 partidos jugados, 9 victorias y 4 empates, 31 de 39 puntos posibles (79,5%), es decir que habría obtenido 85,9 puntos, 10 menos que el Real Madrid, y por tanto SEGUNDO CLASIFICADO EN LA LIGA. Sin él en el campo su equipo marca 2,38 goles por partido y encaja 0,47.
¿Merece un jugador de su calidad y que con los números en la mano ha demostrado que en su primer año ha sido decisivo para la obtención de la Liga, ser arrinconado para que otro que está en el declive de su carrera pueda disfrutar de su privilegiado (y a veces inmerecido) lugar como ídolo del barcelonismo?
