Pria beragama Katolik ini merupakan seorang pemain sepak bola yang lama bermain untuk Persebaya sebelum hijrah ke Persib Bandung. Nova adalah seorang bek yang tangguh dan merupakan seorang bek dengan benteng pertahanan yang kuat untuk ditembus lawan. Dia kerap mencetak gol dari tendangan pojok. Vava sendiri dijuluki Nova "suster ngesot" Arianto karena jika dia mencetak gol dia merayakannya dengan gaya ngesot-ngesot di lapangan seperti layaknya suster ngesot. Vava sudah 85 kali bertanding membela Persib Bandung dan mencetak 8 gol. Vava adalah anak dari Sartono Anwar, pelatih terkenal yang mengantar PSIS Semarang menjuarai Divisi Utama 1987 dan salah satu pelatih nasional pada 1980-an hingga awal '90-an. Terakhir, Sartono -yang juga pernah melatih UMS Jakarta (Galatama), BPD Jateng (Galatama), Assyabaab Salim Group, Petrokimia Putra, Arseto Solo, Putra Samarinda- memimpin Persibo Bojonegoro.

Saat ini Benny bermain untuk Arema Indonesia di Liga Super Indonesia dan salah satu pemain timnas sepak bola Indonesia asuhan Alfred Riedl. Sebelum ditarik oleh pelatih Gusnul Yakin di tim Arema Sr, Benny memperkuat tim Jatim dalam PON XVII Kalimantan Timur 2008. Benny bergabung di tim Arema semenjak menjadi anggota tim Akademi Arema, setelah ia menjadi tim Arema Jr U-18 dan U-19. Kemudian ia mencoba bermain di Persekabpas, Persekam, dan Persewangi Banyuwangi. Terakhir ia bersama tim eks PON XVII mewakili Indonesia di ajang Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa Asia Tenggara (POM ASEAN) atau ASEAN University 2008 di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, pada 11-20 Desember 2008. Ferry Rotinsulu (lahir di Palu, Sulawesi Tengah, 28 Desember 1982; umur 28 tahun) adalah seorang penjaga gawang timnas U-23 Indonesia dan sekarang bermain di klub Liga Indonesia Sriwijaya F.C.. Ia bertinggi tubuh 182 cm. Ia berhasil membawa "Laskar Wong Kito" (julukan untuk Sriwijaya F.C) menjadi juara Piala Indonesia 2007 setelah di final yang diadakan di Stadion Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta mengalahkan klub asal Papua Persipura Jayapura lewat adu penalti dengan skor 3-0 setelah sebelumnya pada waktu pertandingan normal 2x45 menit dan babak perpanjangan waktu 2x15 menit bermain imbang 1-1. Di babak adu penalti ia sukses menepis tendangan 2 pemain Persipura David Da Rocha dan Eduard Ivakdalam. Sebelumnya di semifinal pada babak adu penalti juga Ferry berhasil menahan 2 tendangan penalti pemain Pelita Jaya Purwakarta yaitu Ardan Aras dan Vagner Luis dan Sriwijaya pun menang dramatis 6-5 untuk maju ke Final. Pada perempat final Sriwijaya sempat kalah 0-2 terlebih dahulu dari sesama klub asal Sumatera PSMS Medan di Stadion Teladan, Medan dan membalas dengan skor 4-0 di Stadion Jakabaring, Palembang dan Sriwijaya pun menang agregat 4-2 untuk maju ke semifinal yang diadakan di Stadion Gelora Bung Karno. Walaupun tidak terpilih sebagai pemain terbaik Copa Indonesia 2007 yang jatuh ke tangan Bambang Pamungkas, Ferry tidak kecewa dan bangga bisa membawa klubnya tersebut untuk pertama kalinya merebut salah satu gelar bergengsi di tanah air tersebut setelah ajang bergengsi lainnya Liga Indonesia.
